I had been looking for an opportunity to do something other than my typical workouts at the gym, so I completed a fitness consultation and joined a TrainerMD® program. After only one session I was hooked! The sessions were fun and challenging and have helped me develop muscle groups I haven't focused on in years. My trainer not only guides me and teaches me how to do the exercises, he is also a great motivator. Many times I have lifted more weight or exercised harder than I ever would have on my own! Working with a trainer has given me new confidence and the motivation to get stronger. I am very glad I joined the program. I’m already well on my way to reaching my fitness goals!
I was in need of a major revamp with my workout routine, which consisted of running (and an occasional Zumba class). After working out with my new trainer for a few sessions, I was hooked. TrainerMD® trainers bring high energy and motivation. They shared anatomy and physiology, training, and nutrition knowledge, while making it a fun and challenging experience. My TrainerMD® program is just what I needed to get my confidence back. I needed to add weight and resistance training to my workout regimen but never could have made the changes without my trainer’s help. The nutrition program and support was also crucial to my success. As someone who has never worked out before, joining a gym and getting a trainer seemed daunting. But after I met my trainer, I knew this was exactly what I needed to hold myself accountable. My trainer pushes me when I need it and knows exactly how far to go. I am learning how to stretch and how to lift weights safely. This is a big help because when I go to the gym alone, I now know what to do and how to do it! I am on a journey and I couldn't be happier that my trainer is there with me helping me every step of the way. I look forward to my monthly performance reports to see how I am doing.
I am a very athletic person. When I was stricken with sciatica problems due to crash training for a 10K, I was sidelined for about 10 months. After physical therapy, attending a pain center, and seeing a chiropractor, I was finally pain free but now I was terribly out of shape. I am so glad I decided to join a TrainerMD® program. I can feel that my core is significantly stronger, my balance is much better, but more importantly, my mood at work is more upbeat, my blood pressure has dropped, and my clothes are fitting much better. I am breast cancer survivor and I’m dedicated to getting back to my healthy self – I know that I’m on the right path and I want to thank TrainerMD®. I’ll be in great shape for my 5th Pan Mass Challenge next year.
When I signed up for my TrainerMD® program it was with a moderate goal in mind. Thanks to my program and guidance, I've been able to meet and then surpass all of my expectations. My trainer is always available to answer my questions and I have received very sound advice on fitness and nutrition at the group support meetings I have attended. I love all the different exercises that I am learning because they keep things interesting. As with any goal in life you need to have determination, dedication and discipline. Plus, you have to keep showing up.
At age 59, getting in shape has become a medical necessity. My motivation was low but my need was high. The best thing I did was sign up for TrainerMD®. My trainer worked with me slowly at first, increasing the tempo, the number of and variety of exercises over time. He explained what each exercise was designed to do, and stressed proper form and posture. The progress I have made is amazing! In one four-week period alone I lost 6 lbs. of body fat and gained 1 lb. of lean muscle mass. My average blood sugar numbers have noticeably decreased. I have less back pain, greater mobility, and increased core strength (and a much better golf swing). For me, enlisting the help of TrainerMD® has been the best move I have made in years to improve my health.

I love the energy of working with my trainer! My trainer pushes me more than I would on my own and I really like that I can get a great, effective workout in 30 minutes if I have to. The TrainerMD® program is very thorough and they create a personalized plan based on individual needs. They identified my weak areas and took appropriate steps to correct my posture and balance before designing a full-blown program for me. Everyone I have worked with has been extremely knowledgeable–they are really passionate about what they do.

I am a master jeweler by trade and am 56 years young. I had been having consistent lower back pain and I was nervous because I did not want to make it worse. I was also tired of feeling tired all of the time. After only 12 weeks working my TrainerMD® trainer, I made incredible progress. I lost 4% overall body fat and also lost inches off my hips and waist. I have noticed a major increase in my energy and stamina. According to my monthly reports, my overall strength increased by 300%. I had hoped for results like this but honestly did not think that this would happen so quickly. What’s different about the TrainerMD® program is that I not only got results, but I learned how to fix my diet and train effectively so I won’t have to rely on a trainer and be in a program forever!
As a former nurse, I spent my life taking care of others. Now, as I recover from major back surgery, I have to get used to being the patient. When I joined TrainerMD®, I couldn’t walk without a cane or walker. My goal was to be able to walk unassisted for a few hours each day so that I could enjoy some personal freedom and travel again. My daughter was a trainer and she came with me for my first few sessions. After awhile, she was very comfortable that I was in good hands. I slowly began to dramatically improve my lower body strength and structural balance. After just 20 weeks, I was able to walk without a cane or walker for four or more hours a day. My balance had improved by 60% and my lower body is strong enough to totally support my body weight. I had also gained significant upper body strength at the same time.
